Mahara Ballas, Esq.
Founding Attorney
Mahara founded MBB Law in 2021 to give clients personal attention and honest, effective counsel. A Brazilian national licensed in both Brazil and New York, she has gone through the U.S. immigration process herself. Her practice covers employment-based petitions, removal defense, family-based immigration, and consular processing. She is also a New York State Certified Mediator and holds an LL.M. from Cardozo School of Law.

Sylvia Juliana Pinzón, Esq.
Attorney
Juliana has practiced immigration law since 2022, handling family-based, humanitarian, and employment-based cases. Her background in business helps her understand the professional and personal goals behind each client’s case. A native Spanish speaker, she works closely with clients to explain each step of the process clearly.

Paralegal
Maria Eduarda supports our attorneys in preparing and organizing client cases, from gathering evidence to assembling filings. She works closely with clients to make sure every document is complete and every deadline is met.
